A NW Special: Rhododendrons
The Pacific Northwest is ideal for growing rhododendrons and azaleas (can't ever figure out the difference, here's the taxonomy). This was my favorite, buds are a dark pink and the flowers open lighter and fade to white:
A very light purple:
A subtle orange:
What an interesting pattern:
White and yellow:
Classic pink:
They grow like weeds around here!
